Qualifications

• Graduate degree required, if the graduate degree is not in nursing must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the CHEA.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, teaches, evaluates the philosophy and objectives of the nursing education program.
• Designs, implements, teaches, evaluates, and revises the curriculum.
• Leads simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab.
• Teaches and evaluates students in the classroom.
• Creates an effective learner environment addressing contemporary issues in nursing.
• Supports student progression and remediation of at‑risk students.
• Grades clinical papers and provides timely feedback.
• Maintains records on student performance and completes clinical site evaluations.
