Job summary

The United States Army Reserve is seeking a Practical Nursing Specialist to deliver high-quality medical care to Soldiers and their Families. You will perform preventive, therapeutic, and emergency nursing care under professional supervision.

This role requires 10 weeks of Basic Training and 52 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.

Additionally, candidates must achieve specific ASVAB scores and meet Army eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Completion of 10 weeks of Basic Training.
• Completion of 52 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
• Achieve 101 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST).
• Achieve 107 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT).

Eligibility

• Must have an interest in joining the Army
• Must be able to meet height/weight requirements
• No tattoos on hands, face, or above the neck (ring tattoos are acceptable)
• No history of a felony-level offense or DUI
• No major medical procedures would prohibit you from service (please ask specific questions)

Benefits

The Post-9/11 GI Bill provides up to full college tuition and additional housing and book allowances. The Montgomery GI Bill – Active Duty allows up to 36 months of benefits with combined personal contributions and government funding, while the Montgomery GI Bill – Selected Reserve provides the same benefits for reserve members in return for a service commitment. These programs cover tuition, training, certifications, and vocational education.
