Job summary

Apple Rehab Clipper seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver compassionate daily care in our 60-bed Rhode Island skilled nursing community. Join a family-oriented team with a focus on excellent resident outcomes.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and daily activities; document care; monitor residents; report changes; and respond to calls. Per diem weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use.
• Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) documents personal care given according to facility policies.
• Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• Observe and report to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including skin breakdowns.
• Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently; records all necessary charting entries; answers all call lights.

Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Job Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Competitive rates:

$20.00 -$28.00 (based on experience & shift)

Additional Expectations:

Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.

Differentials Offered:

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours
