Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries, the largest grower of box trees and palms in North America, seeks a versatile yard associate to support nursery operations and customer service. You will help organize the yard, move plants, perform light equipment maintenance, and assist customers with loading and unloading plants into vehicles.

This full-time role requires physical fitness, willingness to work outdoors in varying weather, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Experience with power tools, hand tools, or other equipment preferred.
• Must follow specific instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and maintaining the nursery yard to keep a clean, attractive area.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on nursery equipment such as vehicles, forklifts, and hand tools.
• Assist with loading/unloading plants and other nursery products into various vehicles.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use proper lifting techniques.
• Demonstrate availability to work any day of the week.
• Other duties as assigned.
