Job summary

Childbase Partnership in Hertford is seeking a Team Leader for 2-3 year olds. You’ll lead a room-based team, deliver high-quality learning activities and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.

This permanent role is 36-40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year, with a pro rata salary of £33,150.20–£36,836.80. We offer generous annual leave, work-life balance days, childcare savings, partner benefits, wellbeing support and career development in an employee-owned group.

Qualifications

• Qualified EY professional with a Level 3+ EY qualification.
• Knowledge of EYFS; plan/highlight learning activities; observe and record progress.
• Safeguarding-focused; wellbeing of every child is promoted.
• Collaborative leader; empower team to deliver outstanding care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the room-based team for 2-3 year olds.
• Plan and implement high-quality, engaging activities.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress; ensure safeguarding.
