Job summary
The Registered Nurse at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, coordinating with the care team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while teaching patients and families and ensuring a safe, respectful environment.
Minimum one year RN experience required; BSN preferred; active SC RN license or compact state; BLS required with potential ACLS/PALS depending
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of RN experience.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state. BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
- Lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver patient/family-centered care and health teaching.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, professional environment and participate in governance.
