Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provides patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs; plans, coordinates, and evaluates care per MUSC policies.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment with privacy and professional conduct.
• Participates in professional practice models, governance, and ongoing professional development to promote leadership and clinical excellence.
• Coordinates delivery of patient care using care management principles and identifies actions to improve outcomes.
• Engages in shared governance and promotes a healthy work environment with personal accountability.
