Job summary

Goodmark Nurseries, LLC seeks a Production Manager to supervise and motivate a team of territory team leads, ensuring safe, on-budget production of high-quality nursery material. You will oversee planting, harvesting, and nursery maintenance, coordinate with managers, track daily activities per SOP, and maintain a professional image in the field.

Responsibilities include organizing planting and harvesting operations, supervising clerical duties and purchasing, and ensuring equipment and supplies

Qualifications

• Nursery field experience required.
• Prior purchasing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required in your state of residence.
• Knowledge of snow removal operations and management.

Responsibilities

• Organize planting operations across territories and ensure SOP adherence.
• Supervise harvesting crews and ensure proper digging techniques and material handling.
• Oversee nursery maintenance including pruning, staking, and transplanting to standards.
• Supervise field staff across Goodmark territories and ensure production within budgeted hours.
• Supervise clerical duties such as timesheets and fuel log maintenance.
• Oversee purchasing of basic nursery supplies in conjunction with Nursery Director.
