Job summary

Caring Kindergartens Ltd is seeking a dedicated early years practitioner. You will work within a supportive team, acting as a key worker to nurture children's development through observations and planned activities.

The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification, strong EYFS knowledge, and commitment to safeguarding. You will join a caring environment with ongoing training, aiming to foster each child’s growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication skills with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key worker for a group of children, observing and recording progress with photographic evidence.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver a range of play experiences promoting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities align with children’s next steps and interests within EYFS.
• Support each child in developing self-esteem and confidence.
• Model positive behaviour towards children and families.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and practices through training.
• Ensure hygiene standards are met per Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive nursery team.
