Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for aColchester nursery. The role is 40 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday, working in a supportive setting to promote high standards of care.

You will plan activities, support development, and apply EYFS to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. DBS check is part of safeguarding, with a focus on teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities promoting learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support daily nursery operations and uphold high standards of care.
• Follow the EYFS framework in all activities and practices.
• Lead by example with best practice in early years education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support learning and development.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the nursery environment.
