Job summary

Green Circle Growers in Oberlin, OH is seeking a General Labor associate to prepare flowers and plants for shipping, including planting, cultivating, and maintaining nursery stock.

You will work in production spaces, stand for long periods, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs with safety. Experience in nursery/shipping is required; weekend hours may be required. This role supports the highest quality plants for regional and national customers.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of nursery/manufacturing/assembly/shipping/receiving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must perform manual tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Must be able to lift items up to 20 lbs and push/pull carts up to 200 lbs.
• Must follow verbal and written directions and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Pot and plant seedlings, fill and label trays, move product to greenhouses, and pull/assemble orders.
• Attach hangers to baskets and hang through seasonal holding houses using ladders.
• Move containerized plants using rolling or electric carts; load/unload trucks and supplies.
• Clean and maintain farm buildings, structures, equipment, and work areas.
