Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Prosper, TX seeks a Nursery/Plant Material Department Manager to lead sales and operations, supervise agronomic staff, and ensure branch performance. You will collaborate with branch leadership to meet department goals and promote safety and quality across the nursery.

This role requires 1–3 years in green industry, strong customer service and forecasting skills, and a working knowledge of inventory management and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in the green industry and understanding of live plant material preferred
• Excellent customer service and management skills
• Experience with sales and operations planning and forecasting
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals; including debits, credits, AR/AP and budgets

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with sales and operations planning, forecasting, and integration of supply and demand plans
• Promote an incident-free environment by emphasizing safety daily
• Encourage a strong safety culture through workplace organization, training and policy execution
• Understand and execute inventory management, target customer mix and sales
• Train and develop agronomic staff to be knowledgeable of the Nursery product line and customer needs
• Partner with branch leadership to implement new technologies and improve business performance
• Support other branch departments and customers as needed
