Job summary

West Carrollton YMCA is seeking a Nursery Attendant to provide a safe, engaging experience for children while parents participate in YMCA activities. You will supervise children, follow safety guidelines, and communicate with parents and staff.

Qualifications include being at least 15 years old, high school diploma or GED preferred, and childcare experience is a plus. The role is hourly and non-exempt, with day, night, and weekend availability requested.

• Six months or more of related childcare experience preferred.

• Follows appropriate safety guidelines.
• Inspects all equipment used for safety hazards, damage or wear.
• Communicates to direct supervisor any concerns, needed repairs, or incidents that may need follow-up.
• Communicates any suggestions to improve the facility and equipment.
• Proactively solves problems.
