Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking passionate Nursery Assistants for a range of roles across Cheshire. You will work with children daily, designing activities and supporting early learning in line with EYFS, with DBS checks offered if needed.

We offer flexible shift patterns (full/half days), weekly pay, and support in DBS processing to help you secure a permanent role in welcoming settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is essential.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with room leaders to design and set up exciting, innovative, and playful learning activities.
• Working with children on a 1-to-1 basis or in small groups to support their early learning journey.
• Utilising your knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to guide children safely through their day.
• Supervising and encouraging children during mealtimes, snack times, and fun outdoor play.

The Role: What You'll Do

As a Nursery Assistant, you will bring energy and care to the nursery room every single day. Your rewarding responsibilities will include:

• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• An Enhanced Child DBS check (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Level 3 Childcare qualification is highly preferred!
