Responsibilities

• Participates in clinical situations such as codes, admissions, transfers, and monitoring of unstable patients.
• Collaborates with physicians to ensure optimal patient care and efficient resource use.
• Acts as a patient advocate and responds to patient/visitor concerns.
• Identifies trends in system problems and notifies management.
• Assists with patient admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Intervenes during safety/incident situations as needed.
