Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of the nursing department under the Director of Nursing
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures by nursing staff
• Participate in development and implementation of care plans
• Oversee administration of medications, treatments, and procedures
• Observe resident status changes and notify physicians and families accordingly
• Maintain accurate resident records
• Provide leadership and oversight to nursing personnel
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs
• Participate in end-of-life care as required
