Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio and/or multi-state compact (required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS may be required based on unit standards.
• PALS may be required based on unit standards.
• Certification in a specialty clinical area or leadership within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Routinely provide patient care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains employee records.
• Identifies needs for and provides staff education/staff development.
• Participates in discharge planning, community referrals, and education.
• Committee involvement, participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost-effective manner.
