Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate the 24/7 operations of the assigned patient care unit(s) and ensure quality, individualized patient care in a Magnet-designated teaching and research hospital in Los Angeles.

Under the Associate Director, you will supervise nursing staff, manage unit resources, participate in budgeting and strategic planning, and drive quality improvements while mentoring staff for professional growth and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in healthcare, nursing or healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 24/7 daily operations on assigned units.
• Ensure staff operate within scope and meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, retention, and unit practice council involvement.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and staff development; conduct performance evaluations.
