CorVel is seeking a Nurse Trainer to develop, assess, and revise training materials for clinical staff, ensuring nurses meet job requirements and new hires gain essential experience. The role requires strong communication and attention to detail, with remote work options.
The trainer will create curricula, coordinate training for nurses and stakeholders, monitor QA trends, and provide regular updates to supervisors while maintaining documentation for medical records and software tools.
The Nurse Trainer isresponsible for developing, assessing, administering, and revising training material for all positions in a clinical setting.This role reviews all existing training material, identifies areas in which it is lacking, and creates new supplemental material and training content to complement existing material. The goal of this process is to ensure that the triage program has adequate substance to determine whether existing nurses are adequately meeting job requirements and to equip all potential new nurses with the information and experience necessary to fulfill their new roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are important in this position, as these trainers not only create and edit written training material, but also interface with existing nurses at all levels to ascertain their training. As such, strong memory skills, close attention to detail, and high adaptability are all beneficial for the position.
This is a remote position.

Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range, and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
