About Our Unit

The 3^rd West unit at Maury Regional Medical Center is a 52-bed department serving diverse patient populations, including medical-surgical, oncology, and pediatric patients. The unit offers opportunities for skill advancement in pediatric care and chemotherapy certification. It operates with two charge nurses per shift to ensure smooth patient care and staff support, maintaining a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with a collaborative team approach.

Job Summary

Performs clerical duties, processes physicians' orders, files vital information, provides basic nursing care, and assists in maintaining a safe environment under RN supervision. Responsibilities may vary based on unit needs.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
• 1 year of Related Experience (Preferred)
