Job Description: Nurse Tech Program - Puget Sound Region

Position Details:

This is a paid position available at the time of hire. As a Nurse Tech, you will earn a wage while gaining experience designed to support and accelerate your nursing skills. MultiCare provides career planning and rotation opportunities across various hospital units based on your interests and unit availability. Educational opportunities will also be provided to advance your nursing career.

Upon graduation, you may apply to the MultiCare RN Transition to Practice Residency program to transition from student to professional nurse.

Start Dates: Continuous hiring every 2 weeks based on open positions.

• MultiCare is a nicotine-free campus. Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have completed at least one term and a clinical rotation in an accredited program.
• This is a per-diem/on-call, non-benefit eligible, non-union position.
• Opportunities to work various shift lengths during the school year, with at least one shift per week.
• Pay rate: $20.00 flat rate, no benefits.
• Eligible for a $2500 tuition assistance payment every 6 months after a 90-day probationary period, with a work agreement.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited RN program, having completed at least one academic term with a clinical component, or a graduate awaiting NCLEX results.
• Current Nursing Technician Registered credential.
• Documentation of clinical competencies from nursing coursework.
• Current BLS certification.
