Join our 42-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU), where you will work alongside a skilled and compassionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Nurse Technician, you will play an important role in supporting nurses and the interdisciplinary care team while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. The PCU cares for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of complex medical and surgical conditions, including cardiac patients requiring specialized monitoring and treatment. Team members have the opportunity to learn about advanced patient care, telemetry monitoring, post-surgical recovery, and the management of patients with specialized therapies and invasive lines.
Working collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, Nurse Technicians assist with patient care activities, support patient safety initiatives, and contribute to the implementation of individualized care plans. This role provides excellent exposure to progressive and acute care nursing practices while building a strong clinical foundation for future career growth.
