Job summary

Covenant Levelland Hospital is seeking a Nursing Technician to assist in basic patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This onsite role requires residency within commutable distance of Levelland, TX and includes multiple openings for Per Diem and On Call daytime shifts.

Qualified candidates include nursing students enrolled in an RN program with completed core coursework or RN graduates who have not yet passed the NCLEX within their first year, with BLS certification within 30

Qualifications

• Nursing student enrolled in a professional School of Nursing (RN) program with successful completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills coursework and maintaining enrollment.
• Graduate of a professional School of Nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State Board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation; after one year, may be demoted to a non-licensed position.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
