Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Nursing Technician to assist in basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. This role supports treatment and daily patient needs within a team-focused environment.

Qualified candidates include nursing students in RN programs or recent RN graduates within the first year of licensure, with BLS through American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Multiple shifts available; pay range listed.

Qualifications

• A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment.
• A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
