Job summary

Hillcrest Shadow Lake is seeking an Overnight Nurse Tech (CNA) in Papillion, NE. This role supports residents through night shifts, providing hands-on care and monitoring while ensuring safety and comfort.

You will work the 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. shift, assist with daily living activities, and document care in electronic systems. A Nebraska CNA, patient-focused approach, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course required.
• Active Nebraska CNA certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or obtained within Hillcrest’s timeframe.
• Experience in CNA, senior living, or related settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with toileting, hygiene, repositioning, dressing, and activities of daily living.
• Help with transfers, ambulation, and mobility as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.
• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, comfort, or mobility.
• Follow individualized care plans and resident preferences.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Follow infection‑control and safe resident‑handling procedures.
• Communicate changes or concerns promptly to the nurse.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and team-focused Nurse Techs (CNAs) to join the overnight team at Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion.

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with toileting, hygiene, repositioning, dressing, and other activities of daily living.

• Follow infection‑control and safe resident‑handling procedures.
• Communicate positively with residents, families, nurses, and fellow team members.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
• Jump in and help wherever needed to keep the overnight shift running smoothly.

• Previous CNA, senior living, assisted living, long‑term care, post‑acute, or similar experience preferred.
