Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in St Joseph, MI, seeks a Nursing Technician for a full-time day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.), 36 hours weekly. The role supports RN-directed patient care, documents care, and maintains a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients in coordination with the RN or Provider; ensures documentation is accurate and timely.
• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN or Provider, supports an individualized plan of care and maintains accurate documentation.
• Articulates the nursing technician role to patient and health team members; supports safe, quality patient care in a cost-efficient manner.
• Cleans patient environment, work area, and equipment; communicates any equipment malfunctions.
• Demonstrates ethical behavior and safeguards patient privacy and data.
