The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is a 36‑bed ICU located in the Meijer Heart Center specializing in highly acute post‑cardiac and advanced heart failure patients. Nurse techs care for a wide range of patients and devices, including heart/lung transplant patients and post‑operative open‑heart patients. We are experts in caring for the most critically ill patients in our area and throughout Michigan. We are at the forefront of cardiac medicine, engaging in cutting‑edge innovation and research. We seek Nurse Techs with experience in roles that require constant critical thinking, resilience, a high level of self‑motivation and drive, flexibility with availability, commitment to excellence, and receptiveness to constructive feedback.
