Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse License is required.
• Three years of full-time nursing experience with at least two years in a supervisory capacity or equivalent supervisory experience after meeting minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Visits schools to supervise health services and review student records.
• Establishes caseloads for nursing and health services.
• Presents demonstration lessons and activities for staff to enhance student achievement.
• Coordinates in-service training and other professional training for nurses.
• Assists nurses in planning and training parents/guardians for home care programs.
• Trains staff on the Nurse's role in an educational setting and collaborates with stakeholders.
