Job summary

Patient First in Pennsylvania seeks a Nurse Supervisor to oversee patient care from registration to departure, and to supervise clinical staff. You will schedule Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants, review medications and supplies, and act as a liaison for leadership to ensure smooth center operations.

The ideal candidate holds PA nursing licensure, at least one year of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and clerical aptitude.

Qualifications

• PA Nursing License is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• Experience administering medications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the medical care of all patients from registration to departure.
• Supervising clinical personnel on patient contact, care, and performance.
• Scheduling Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants.
• Reviewing inventory of medicines, prescriptions, and supplies.
• Acting as Patient First representative for leadership during his/ her absence.
• Functioning as an administrator and, if needed, as Staff Nurse.
• Reviewing all checklists of Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants.
• Preparing evaluations for staff at scheduled times.
• Providing warm, friendly customer service in all interactions.
• Fostering teamwork and a professional atmosphere.
• Completing other duties as directed.
