Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• At least five (5) years nursing supervisory experience including 3 years in hospital, substance use or behavioral health supervision.
• Proficiency in Phlebotomy and EKG.
• Strong time management, writing and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise, coach, mentor, develop, train and teach nurses/clinical staff.
• Flexibility to work all shifts as needed; strong policy and regulatory understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR; leadership and management capabilities.
• Experience working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develops nursing and medical staff schedules.
• Monitors medical staff performance and improves efficiency to meet patient needs.
• Supervises nursing care to ensure competency and best practices.
• Conducts orientation and in-service training for staff.
• Provides medication administration training and competency evaluation.
• Manages CLIA waived test training and competency.
• Maintains controlled substances inventory accurately.
• Completes daily and monthly regulatory reporting.
• Maintains medication and supply inventories as needed.
