A leading healthcare provider in Royal Oak is seeking a Clinical Supervisor Nurse to oversee clinic operations and provide leadership to nursing staff. This full-time role involves managing patient care delivery and ensuring high standards of nursing practice. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse, and relevant clinical experience, with opportunities for future growth as the department expands.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Administration, assumes accountability for a clinic/department with multiple staff members (i.e., RNs, MAs, LPNs, etc.). Provides first line management responsibilities including clinical leadership and supervisory support to an assigned clinic/department. Performs duties of a Registered Nurse in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families. Works in partnership with the Nurse Manager, the health care team and medical group leaders to ensure a quality practice setting that supports professional nursing practice and quality patient care. Demonstrates clinical competence. Participates in planning and budget development.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8 hrs. with some flex in start/end times between 0730AM-5:30PM (combination of times within those parameters). No weekends currently.
Location: Royal Oak. This leader will help will other sites as we grow specialties in peds. We are opening a peds GI site in Pierson and this supervisor would be the one to help get things up and running. There may be future growth for this role. Eventually we will hire a specialty manager
