Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Supervisor for Inova Primary Care in the Arlington/McLean area. The full-time day position supports clinical operations, patient care, and staff supervision within primary care clinics.

The role requires a Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing, Virginia LPN licensure, and at least 1 year of nursing-related experience. The incumbent will coordinate patient care, ensure quality standards, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience: 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
• Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education.
• Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols.
• Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum.
• Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.
