Job summary

Inova Health is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Supervisor for our Inova Primary Care locations in Burke, Lake Ridge, and Springfield, VA. This full-time days role supports clinical operations, patient care, and supervision of nursing staff across multiple clinics.

The position requires an LPN license in Virginia, a practical nursing diploma, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing/healthcare experience. BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience: 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, including meeting key deliverables and quality standards.
• Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care and patient education.
• Administers and applies all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols.
• Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum.
• Manages patient care effectively by collaborating with the primary care team and maintaining active communication.

• Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
• Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education.
