Coral Shores Behavioral Health in Stuart, Florida, a 80-bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility, is seeking a registered nurse to lead the inpatient unit. You will oversee admissions, crisis intervention, medication administration, and treatment team collaboration to maintain a therapeutic milieu.
Responsibilities include supervising RNs and Mental Health Technicians, ensuring documentation, coordinating care plans, and upholding safety standards.

Position Summary: Responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the in‑patient units. Oversees all unit activities including but not limited to admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, seclusion and restraints, Baker Act. Oversees schedule to ensure adequate coverage and proper break/meal time. Accountable for the implementation of a collaborative care plan as proscribed by the physician(s) and treatment team. Provide leadership in maintaining standards for professional Nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provide medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety. Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu. Oversee Mental Health Techs, administer medication and provide medication for the nursing staff when the Pharmacy is closed. Coordinates all medical codes and ensures they are carried out appropriately and safely.
