Job summary

The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis, affiliated with BJC HealthCare and Encompass Health, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead rehabilitation services and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will oversee nursing care, coordinate with administration and staff, and drive care programs on a per-shift basis. Ideal candidates hold RN licensure with BLS/ACLS within one year, and CRRN within a year, with a Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred and inpatient leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, provide on‑the‑spot feedback, and conduct annual evaluations.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
