Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate inpatient rehabilitation care. You will guide care programs, collaborate with leadership, and oversee nursing staff across shifts to ensure safe, effective delivery of rehabilitation services.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS (ACLS and CRRN readiness within a year), and prior hospital leadership experience. We value a patient-centered approach and a commitment to staff development and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 1 year of starting.
• CRRN certification within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, including feedback and evaluations.
• Provide patient-centered care and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
