Encompass Health in Kentucky is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care on a rehab unit. You will oversee clinical operations, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care throughout recovery.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state.
• BLS certification; ACLS within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience within the last five years.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse/lead) with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
