Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) to be obtained within 6 months unless exempt.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in clinical nursing, including management of staff and clinical oversight.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the clinical staff in all departments to meet patient and provider needs.
• Oversees staffing and scheduling of all clinical staff.
• Implements staff education plans and department-based inservice sessions.
• Maintains standards of staff competency regarding clinical performance, safety, OSHA, and regulatory bodies.
• Leads clinical staff meetings and mentors staff.
• Assists in quality improvement initiatives and patient care quality review.
• Assists in annual budget planning and operates within the budget.
• Performs human resources tasks including performance reviews and staff morale.
