Montclair Hospital Medical Center in Montclair, CA, seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing operations nights. You will supervise staff, develop departmental plans, ensure compliance with regulations, and participate in training and orientation. Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ACLS certificate (current) within 30 days of hire and maintain.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and maintain.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year as staff nurse in acute care hospital setting, ED setting preferred.
• TNCC certificate within 12 months and CEN within 2 years preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, 1 year in supervisory/leadership role preferred.

Responsabilités

• The Clinical Nursing Supervisor supports administrative responsibility for department service functions and collaborates with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel; communicates with staff, physicians, and administration.
• Accountable for staff quality and functions during shift; assists in daily operations and ensures efficient department function.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
