Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on‑the‑spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling.
• Assume patient care as needed and build relationships with patients, dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BSN certification; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting the position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the last five years.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
