Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams in patient rehabilitation. You will oversee care delivery, ensure adherence to policies, and foster a compassionate environment while guiding staff through daily operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity.
• BLS/ACLS/CRRN certifications within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, including evaluations and discipline.
• Provide hands-on patient care when needed and build rapport with patients to support recovery.

• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
