Qualifications

• Current CNA required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare or staffing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain daily nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for resident care.
• Proactively fill open shifts by contacting staff and managing call-outs, absences, and schedule changes.
• Prepare and distribute daily staffing assignments for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Track attendance, PTO, vacation requests, and staffing variances to support payroll accuracy.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and employee contact information.
• Assist with nursing department administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, and communications.
• Verify CNA certifications, nursing licenses, and employment references during hiring.
• Utilize staffing and clinical software systems to manage schedules and staffing data.
• Serve as a CNA as needed to meet resident care needs.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to maintain staffing levels meeting regulatory and facility standards.
