Responsibilities

As a Nurse Shift Manager in our Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our most vulnerable patients receive the highest level of care in a supportive and healing environment.

• Supervise nursing staff assigned to a shift, considering patient condition and staff skill level.
• Assess, monitor, and educate staff on patient care; institute emergency procedures as necessary.
• Anticipate staffing needs and respond proactively.
• Oversee stocking of supplies and update patient records to prepare for subsequent shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Current CA Registered Nurse license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN); actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (e.g., BSN/BBA/BHA).
• LA Fire Card required within 90 days of hire.
