Summary:The Summer Program Nurse Consultant will assist the Extracurricular Resource Nurse in providing training, delegation, and support for students with significant health needs at all BVSD summer programming sites, including licensed childcare and summer learning programs.
Identify and assess health concerns and ascertain who and how the care for the student is to be done in the academic settings in compliance with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE), which includes compliance with Board of Nursing, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) regulations, Colorado Department of Education (CDE) requirements and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) rules. The nurse enhances and impacts student learning by modifying or removing health related barriers.Required:

*Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to BVSD or current BVSD employees that are new to the employee group (existing employees currently in this unit please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule).
