The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Safety Operations Specialist to support daily hospital operations, focus on safe, high-quality experiences for patients, staff and visitors, and collaborate with multiple departments to uphold hospital safety standards. BSN required with 3+ years of clinical nursing practice; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years in clinical nursing practice.
• Registered Nurse License for State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient responses to health care challenges.
• Participates in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care and/or policies for the specialty population.
• Instills value for professional nursing practice and develops policies and procedures using Clinical Practice Guidelines or evidence-based practices.
• Applies teaching/learning principles to patients, families, and staff to improve patient outcomes.
• Acts as a patient and family advocate by articulating needs and concerns to physicians and other care providers.
• Assist in managing day-to-day business operations and ensure effective communication among care providers.
• Utilize technology to document, evaluate, and manage process and patient outcomes.
• Coordinate between departments to ensure timely execution of operational strategies and deadlines.
• Provide subject matter expertise to write or revise organizational policies and protocols.
