Nurse, RN - Regional Crisis Center - Full Time - Montrose, CO

Position Summary: The Nurse, RN promotes and fosters health, assesses dysfunction, aids patient recovery, improves or learns coping skills, maximizes strengths, and prevents disability. Focus areas include assessment and monitoring of safety, self-care activities, and psychobiological therapy courses.

Our ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited nursing school, be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado, and have three years of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric/mental health. Knowledge of psychiatric medication, managed care, and experience working with a multidisciplinary team and mental health conditions are preferred.

Salary: Starting at $36.00 plus locale differential ($1.00), totaling $37.00, up to $40.66 per hour, based on experience and education.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds, walk, sit, stand, kneel, climb, and balance. Must be able to sit for long periods at a computer and travel between locations. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Reasonable accommodations will be made for disabilities.
