Job summary

Northern Rivers Family of Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for a youth and adolescent population with emotional, behavioral and physical needs, on-site. You will perform assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires NYS RN license and CPR certification, with 1-2 years of pediatric/adolescent nursing experience preferred. On-site work with benefits including healthcare, PTO and retirement plan is provided.

Qualifications

• RN license in NYS required
• CPR certification required
• 1-2 years of RN experience with youth/adolescents preferred
• TCI training may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and plan of care for youth/adolescents
• Medication management including ordering and ensuring prior authorizations
• Collaborate with medical director, psychiatrists, and providers
• Document nursing care in EHR and prepare discharge plans
• Provide client and family education on meds and treatments
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees

Job description

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing care and services to a youth and adolescent population with emotional, behavioral and physical needs using the nursing process (assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating).
