Fargo Elim is a Cassia Community facility in Fargo, ND, seeking a Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our 20-bed Transitional Care Unit. You will provide compassionate care to short-stay residents as they recover and transition home or to the next level of care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment per policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family of significant changes in a resident's condition and follows up as needed.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Fargo Elim, a Cassia Community, is hiring a Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our 20-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU)! This is an excellent opportunity to care for short-stay residents as they recover and transition home or to the next level of care. As a Nurse (RN or LPN) at Fargo Elim, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to our short term residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled and dependable Nurse who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Shifts Available:

• Night: 6:30 pm to 7:00 am

Nurse (RN or LPN) responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Nurse (RN or LPN) Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN license in North Dakota is required.
• Prior TCU experience a plus.
• IV certified or in a current course.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
