St Johnsbury Center for Living is participating in the Nurses for Nursing Homes program, offering eligible nurses up to $40,000 toward student loans and a $10,000 stipend in exchange for a 3-year commitment to work 30+ hours per week on site.

Qualified candidates are RNs or LPNs with eligible debt or recent graduates (within 2 years) who have not worked in a nursing home in the past 60 days. Funding is first come, first served.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with eligible student loan debt or recent nursing graduate (last 2 years).
• Must be eligible to work as a nurse in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a nursing home setting.
• Participate in the Nurses for Nursing Homes program requirements and commitments.
