Job summary

Patient First Maryland Medical Group, P.L.L.C. is seeking an ambulatory care nurse to join our team in Virginia. The role focuses on implementing policies, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients and families, and supporting physicians in emergencies.

The ideal candidate holds a Virginia nursing license, has strong verbal and written communication, and may have clerical or clinical medication experience. Salary ranges from $27.50 to $37.50 per hour, with benefits and sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Keyboarding capability required.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with medication administration preferred.
• Currently licensed as a Virginia nurse.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Patient First's policies and procedures
• Providing nursing care in the ambulatory setting to individual patients and families
• Using sound judgment when administering medications and monitoring dosages/side effects
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases
• Providing warm, friendly customer service and fostering teamwork
• Completing other duties as directed

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Implementing Patient First's policies and procedures
• Offering quality nursing care and generating a genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees
• Providing nursing care in the ambulatory setting to individual patients and families
• Using sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients
• Administering medications and knowing correct dosage, actions, and side effects of each medication administered
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases
• Providing positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactions
• Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere
• Completing other duties as directed

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Employee must be at least 18 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Keyboarding experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• One year of clerical experience preferred
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Virginia

Salary Range: $27.50 - $37.50, depending on experience.
